Intake
and Assessment

We will use image-based exercises and Positive Psychology assessments to help you understand where you are right now, how you have arrived at this point, and what subconscious patterns are influencing your current life experience.

If you think you know what the origin of you issues is, you might be surprised! You will be amazed at how much clarity and focus you will begin to experience.

Calming & nervous system regulation

The subconscious work takes root when our nervous system is regulated. In this section, we will focus on creating internal safety. You will receive image exercises and more to release stress and engender hope and calm. 

To make the process of healing as gentle as possible yet still practical and transformational, we will rely on the safety building resources from this section throughout the whole engagement.

Healing and
Inner Work

Emotional processing is a core component of this stage.
We'll work with emotions that may have been suppressed
and dormant until this point, residing only in our bodies.

We will work with our inner child and our wounded parts using not only imagery but methods derived from attachment theory.

We'll be reparenting ourselves to provide comfort, guidance, and validation, leveraging the brain's neuroplasticity to counteract the negative messaging from the past.

Integration &
Reinforcement.

For the change to take root, we need to integrate. Now it's time to focus on your strengths and your vision for the future. It's time to reinforce the positive change; perhaps you will need to revisit some exercises and tie up the loose ends.

With the help of the Positive Psychology methods, we will map out the future you want to embody. You'll receive tools and exercises to help you tap into the realm of hope and possibility.

Several years ago, I was faced with a relationship and health crisis that forced me to confront my own emotional wounds.

It wasn’t just about the physical symptoms—it was also about the deep-seated trauma, suppressed emotions, and the inner voice I had been ignoring for so long.

In the face of uncertainty, I turned to emotional processing and clearing trauma as a way to help myself, and regain control over my life.

Having gone through my own personal hardship, struggle, pain, and defeat. I was able to overcome many storms using the tools I am sharing in this program.

Understanding that body and mind are a unity was pivotal in my health journey.

I know firsthand how overwhelming the healing journey can be. I learned that having support of other compassionate people and practitioners is invaluable.

My work is grounded in a Jungian concepts, utilizing symbols, images, and metaphors to uncover deep insights. I practice a trauma-informed, body-focused approach that emphasizes the connection between the body's sensations and emotional experiences.

I combine tools and methods derived from Positive Psychology, somatic art, visual journaling, and attachment theory to guide my clients through an image-based process that fosters emotional transformation, enhanced well-being, and lasting positive change.


2-year Art Therapy Certification from Northwestern University.

I’m Monika, I am a Transformational Facilitator and a coach who uses art as a tool for healing and personal growth.

With an Art Therapy Certification from Northwestern University and extensive training under Tal Ben-Shahar in Positive Psychology, I integrate the latest research in Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, and Positive Psychology drawing on both scientific understanding and intuitive insights.

Releasing the old pain doesn’t have to be hard.

Here are the answers to a few questions
you may have:

  • The program's length will be between 8 and 10 weeks. However, since we are testing it based on participants' feedback, we can modify the length to fit the needs of everyone involved.  

    The program consists of 8 group live Zoom calls, two individual 1:1 calls with me, and personal work in between live sessions.

  • The program included two individual 1:1 sessions with me for each participant in addition to group meetings to guide you better through this engagement.

  • Even though we will follow a specific framework, you can modulate the level of effort based on your intention and the resources available. You might choose to focus solely on emotional processing or just the inner child work, for example.

    The resources included in the online platform will be available to you after the program completion as well, so you can easily set your own pace.

  • In addition to group meetings, you will need to devote no more than one hour a week to the image and inner work. Most likely, we will allow two weeks for more involved exercises.

    During the program will have a chance to voice your feedback regarding the amount of "homework" and the frequency of live calls, so that we can adjust.

  • I strive to create a sacred and emotionally safe environment for group discussions and exchanges. When we meet as a group, we are very respectful of the privacy levels and never push past any boundaries.

    Additionally, you will have one-on-one sessions if you feel more comfortable sharing during that time. It is a group program, and if you are not comfortable in that setting, it might be best to pursue 1:1 work, which I also offer.

  • The calls will be recorded, and you will receive the recordings. You will get lots of value from watching the replays.

  • No artistic skill is necessary. The focus here is on the process and expression, not on the aesthetic value of the finished product. Essentially, the opposite of what we learned in school 🙂

    All you need is the ability to draw simple lines and shapes. You will be surprised how much insight can be gleaned from a simple drawing.

  • You will be provided with a detailed list of art supplies, which will also be posted to the online platform. However, if you're curious, here is a sneak peek at the recommended materials:
