Why does it work
As Albert Einstein said “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is its faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” The new split-brain research and studies coming from Heart Math institute, seem to support this claim.
What does it mean?
If you don’t get acquainted with your inner landscape, you can’t really live the kind of life you want because you'll be run by unconscious parts of yourself. Repeating the same old patterns over and over again.
Our subconscious speaks in images.
It doesn't speak English or Chinese, its language is the image, and its alphabet is symbol and metaphor.
When an expressive image is created, whether in imagination or physical form, it’s essentially a message from the subconscious, which needs to be decoded and understood. Similarly, we can send messages to the subconscious in the form of a symbol.
We need to uncover what's hidden, make it visible, and bring it into the light. Then and only then we can work with it. We can discard what doesn't serve us and keep the gems we’ve uncovered.
On the other hand, you can think about your left brain and rational mind as a computer. It’s a powerful machine, but a machine doesn’t create. It executes tasks that were assigned to it. It’s the human behind the machine that has creative powers.
The rational mind executes what intuitive/subconscious mind had first envisioned and what it believes.
If you tap into your inner wisdom, it will tell you what you need right now to feel better; it will tell you what you really believe not what you think you believe, it will give you that vision. In essence, the "what" will come from your intuitive mind and the "how" will come from your logical mind.
Taking the free flowing inner work and blending it with scientifically proven positive psychology principles makes for a powerful combination where intuition and science work together to make breaking free of repetitive patterns a reality.
