From Pain to Purpose

Heal the emotional roots
of chronic illness & break free from
unwanted life patterns.

A profoundly transformative 8-session group live program
designed to get into your subconscious mind
so that you can process suppressed & heal deep emotional wounds
using the power of art and image.

It’s been a journey….

You’ve been doing the work—journaling, breathwork, tapping,
affirmations, working with your trauma and emotions

- you name it!

You've tried many different modalities.

You've dedicated time and resources to your healing.

You detoxed your diet and your habits, but somehow,

they couldn't touch the depth of what you

have been carrying.

I've been there too.

Hi, I'm Monika. I'm a Transformational Facilitator trained in art therapy and Positive Psychology, using art as a tool for healing and personal growth.

A few years back, I received a scary health diagnosis. I was exhausted by all the things I needed to do to make myself "be well" on top of the emotional weight I had been carrying all my life.

But everything changed when I stopped listening to all the conflicting advice. Instead, I started digging into the actual roots of my emotional wounds and health issues.

I tuned into myself and did what I knew best —I used art to heal.

Does this sound familiar?

You've noticed the connection between your difficult childhood and how your body feels today. Your health challenges aren't random—they're your body's way of telling a story that needs to be heard.

You've been searching for safe, effective ways to process the big emotions. Anger, grief, and pain deserve more than just being pushed down or ignored.

You recognize that trauma from your past is expressing itself through your body now. Physical symptoms, unexplained health issues may be your body's way of holding onto what happened.

You're exhausted by the same patterns playing out over and over again. They feel familiar but unwanted, wondering why you can't seem to break free.

If this does resonate, you're not alone and you don't have to stay stuck here.

“There is no body that is not mind, no mind that is not body.” -- Gabor Maté

  • Release emotional burdens that weaken your body’s defense mechanisms.

WHAT OTHERS SAY:

Main common myths that will keep you from fully healing.

Stress, unresolved trauma, and unprocessed emotions have only marginal effects on your body.

Multiple studies, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), link toxic stress and health outcomes, showing it can influence physical well-being. Emotional healing is a crucial component of the equation.

Art is for kids and artists only, and it can’t heal you on a deeper level.

Neuroimaging shows that intuitive image-making rewires neural pathways in the brain. You don’t have to be an artist to use art for healing. Even rudimentary, stick-figure-type drawings can deliver profound insights.

Use your willpower and logical mind to release emotional blocks & unhelpful life patterns.

Painful memories are stored in the right brain (non-verbal, sub-cortical parts, and art gives us a direct access to the right brain to allowing us to finally release what's been keeping us stuck

Healing with art is slow and won’t make
a real difference.

Expressive image-making gives you direct access to your right brain, and using images is 2 to 500 times faster at reprograming the subconscious than thoughts, talk, or willpower alone.

Imagine the life that's waiting for you…

  • You'll feel more calm, regulated, and open to possibility. Instead of being on constant alert, you'll start experiencing genuine peace and the ability to imagine good things happening in your life.

  • You'll know yourself better and define what you want to live for. One of the tragedies of trauma is losing ourselves. This program helps you reconnect with your authentic self.

  • You'll start having dreams and goals for the future. When you're no longer in survival mode, you can finally look ahead and see possibilities instead of threats.

  • You'll finally see the light at the end of the tunnel because you'll understand that your symptoms and patterns aren't random; they're your body's way of communicating, and you'll finally know how to listen and respond.

  • You'll experience less inner turmoil and emotional weight. The constant heaviness you've been carrying will lighten as you process and release what's been stored in your body for years or decades.

  • You'll develop more resilience and emotional stability. Life's challenges won't knock you off balance the way they used to. You'll have the tools to navigate difficulties with greater ease and bounce back faster.

By the end of “Pain to Purpose” program you’ll:

  • Uncover and learn how to address the emotional aspects of chronic illness and regain a sense of control on your healing journey.

  • Shift deep-seated emotional patterns by using the native language of emotions — image and creativity so that they no longer repeat.

  • Identify and care for the wounded parts of yourself and nurture your inner child so that you can powerfully engage with life.

  • Become emotionally freer and restore more of your peace and energy.

  • Become emotionally freer by releasing past conditioning so that you are no longer attracting adversity, failure, and, ultimately, a breakdown of your physical body.

  • Know how to use spontaneous image-making as a form of self-therapy and learn how to process emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them.

  • Learn how to communicate directly with your subconscious through image and symbolism and communicate back to imprint healing messages.

Take a look at what’s inside:

Intake
and Assessment

We will use expressive art (like drawing a self-portrait) and Positive Psychology assessments to help you understand where you are right now, how you arrived at this point, and what subconscious patterns are influencing you. In short, we’ll mark the beginning of this journey and establish a benchmark. You’ll be amazed at the clarity and focus you'll begin to experience.

Calming & Nervous System Regulation

The subconscious work takes root when your nervous system is regulated. Here, we'll focus on building your internal safety and creating resources that support you form a scaffolding for the rest of our experience throughout the entire program. You'll learn how to use art to soothe yourself and more!

Healing & Inner Work

Emotional processing takes center stage here. We'll work with emotions that may have been suppressed and dormant, perhaps residing only in your body. Using imagery and methods from attachment theory, we'll work with your inner child and wounded parts, leveraging neuroplasticity to counteract negative messaging from the past.

Integration & Reinforcement

We will integrate and reinforce our transformation. Shift the focus to the future and inspiration. We fill the space created by the processed emotions with fresh and new ideas. We'll map out the future you want to embody using an evidence-based and strengths-focused approach for visioning and goal creation. You'll receive tools to help you tap into the realm of hope and possibility.

Here are the answers to a few questions
you may have:

  • The program's length will be between 8 and 10 weeks. However, since we are testing it based on participants' feedback, we can modify the length to fit the needs of everyone involved.

The program consists of 8 group live Zoom calls, two individual 1:1 calls with me, and personal work in between live sessions.

  • In addition to group meetings, you will need to devote no more than one hour a week to the image and inner work. Most likely, we will allow two weeks for more involved exercises.

Even though we will follow a specific framework, you can modulate the level of effort based on your intention and the resources available.

  • The calls will be recorded, and you will receive the recordings. You will get lots of value from watching the replays.

  • No artistic skill is necessary. The focus here is on the process and expression, not on the aesthetic value of the finished product. Essentially, the opposite of what we learned in school 🙂

All you need is the ability to draw simple lines and shapes. You will be surprised how much insight can be gleaned from a simple drawing.

  • You will be provided with a detailed list of art supplies, which will also be posted to the online platform. However, if you're curious, here is a sneak peek at the recommended materials:

Basic art supplies to start with:

    Colored pencils
    Markers
    Crayons

    Drawing paper
(Even printer paper or the back of paper shopping bags can be used)
